We have used this hotel several times in the past couple of years. The location is very good on the edge of town but has a rural feel with a flock of sheep in the adjacent field. As before, the room was clean and comfortable and staff helpful as always. Dinner in the restaurant is good at a reasonable price and the included breakfast has returned to buffet style.

Monte Filipe is a great hotel and very easy to get to. Although it is just off the main road, the hotel and the village were very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful, everything was spotless, and dinner in the restaurant was also very good! We enjoyed the sauna and the pools and had a great massage.

Great location , feeling of countryside It’s very spacious inside Rooms are generous in size and very comfortable Spa was very much enjoyed , particularly as we had it basically to ourselves . We enjoyed dinner and breakfast . Service from all was kind, friendly , warm .
